Regarding I2C lines interfering with GPIO

Hi,

I'm using intel edison arduino expansion board.I'm using GPIO's 8,9,10 on edison and these are connected to other devices .when I'm triggering I2C lines ,the GPIO's are becoming low.The default value for the GPIO's is high. When the I2C lines are triggered ,the GPIO's are becoming low, therefore the devices connected to GPIO's are also becoming ON.I have added 10K ohm resisters to GPIO's but the issue is not resolved.

Can you please suggest me the neccesary inputs. Please do needful.

Thanks and Regards,

Radhika
