STK2M3W64CC Graphics Options...

I love this M3 stick, I'm wondering about something, since I updated the graphics card I see in the power section inside the control panel there's a battery option in the power section!, I find this strange because this compute stick doesn't have a battery, could someone from Intel tell me why there's a battery option in the control panel?

Hello, Rebecca12:

Could you please let me know the operating system installed? I have checked for this and indeed there is an battery option but is an icon. The Intel® Compute Stick is powered by the power adapter only.

Regards,

Amy.

like I said I have the M3 stick (stk2m3w64cc) and it came with Windows 10, once I updated the driver for the graphics card it shows me a battery section.

Could you please let me know the driver version installed? Please go to Device Manger> Display adapters> Intel(R) HD Graphics right click on Properties and then go to Driver, you will be able to see the version installed.

Regards,

Amy.

/thread/102910 Rebecca12, I have installed that version, but I do not see the battery section. Is there any chance you can send me a picture or a screenshot?

Regards,

Amy.

here's a picture https://postimg.org/image/7gs5owhdj/ https://postimg.org/image/7gs5owhdj/

as you can see, there's a battery section which is useless since the compute stick doesn't have a battery!

Thank you for the picture.

/thread/102910 Rebecca12, I have confirmed that this is just part of the Intel® Graphics Control Panel. The processor in the Intel® Compute Stick is an http://ark.intel.com/products/88198/Intel-Core-m3-6Y30-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-2_20-GHz Intel® Core™ m3-6Y30 Processor (4M Cache, up to 2.20 GHz) Specifications which is considered as mobile so there is a big chance that the driver is recognizing it as if were a laptop but is not, like a I said before the Intel® Compute Stick is powered by the power adapter only.

See here for my screenshot:

Amy.
