I have the Intel STK2mv64cc w/ windows pro 10 @ 64 bit.
Been having problem w/ Bluetooth on boot up. In most cases, it will not load properly on boot up. Device Manager keep showing the exclamation error mark on my Bluetooth device. I need to uninstall & reinstall it every time after I boot up. This started only in the past month or so. Before that, it was fine.
Tried to reinstall w/ Intel Bluetooth for my device, but still have same problem.
any one know how to fix this?
In a previous (but similar) discussion, this was suggested as a solution: (1) Shutdown the ICS and disconnect it from the TV and from A/C power. (2) Wait ~15 minutes for ICS to completely cool off. (3) Reconnect and boot. I tried this when mine acted up and it appeared to work. Whether it will work for you (or continue to work for me) is another issue...
Hope this helps,
I would like to know if the information provided to you was able to solve your concern?
Also, if the issue persists, please install the latest Bluetooth driver:

In case if you need further assistance do not hesitate to reply back.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I've downloaded the newest driver/software from Intel. I've uninstall everything, and re install it. still have the same problem.
when ever I boot up, Bluetooth does not install properly. have the same "!" next to it in the device manager. I have to uninstall & reinstall the device in the Device Manager every time I boot up.
Uninstall the existing Bluetooth and WiFi drivers. Reboot the ICS. Reinstall the latest version available on the Intel site (download from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26107/Intel-Bluetooth-Technology-Based-Driver-for-Intel-Co... here and https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26322/Intel-Wireless-Technology-Based-Driver-for-Intel-Com... here). If it says newer driver already installed, tell it to install anyway. Reboot and test as before.
Frankly, this is the last thing I can think of to try. If this doesn't work, I suggest that you contact Intel Customer Support and make arrangements for a RMA. My recommendation is to actually call them; there have been too many reports of the online systems not working right. Consult the following pages for information on phone numbers near you:

Please let me know how it goes.
I've installed the newest bios. still the same problem.
still get same error on boot up.
I still have to uninstall it, and rescan hardware to install it.
I've noticed, if I set the Intel Bluetooth under Services to Manual start, it does not have the error. but that means I have to Manually start it everytime I reboot. On automatic start, it always give the error below.
After a second research, I was able to find and additional troubleshooting for the error "Code 10".
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/943104 "This device cannot start" Code 10 error in Device Manager in Windows
Please try with those steps and let me know if the issue was resolved.
I found my key in regedit, but it has a different key name on it.
However, I don't see the Lower or Upper filter it say I should delete.
