I have a problem with Edison , and attempts to load the latest software by using Flash Tool Lite edison is neither visible through the windows as a memory stick or through putty.

I would add that Edison used together with the " Base Block" sparkfun I do not know if this is normal but when you are trying to connect to Edison as a " memory stick " computer several times it seems as if I was putting sounds and take out , ultimately does not recognize it as an Intel Edison.

Could you please be a bit more specific? By "latest software" you mean the Edison latest image, right? Do you know what the name of the file is?

Did you already try with the Flashall script method? This is an alternate method to the Flash Tool Lite, I would suggest you to try it.
