I would like to interface a touch display about 5'' with the Edison. What is the cheapest, most reliable one to test out. Also, which works better for interfacing - I2C or SPI.... Thanks!

I haven't tested any display with Edison; however some users have discussed the use of a 2.8'' touch screen in the following threads. You might find them interesting:
On the other hand, I believe the SPI interface is more appropriate than the I2C. Actually, the displays I've seen before use SPI.
