[URGENT] Does Intel Galileo Board support TI CC3000 wifi shield?

Jump to solution

Hi,

Please help me with this, I just bought a TI CC3000 wifi shield, try to enable wifi for intel galileo gen 2 board.

I'm not sure that my galileo really support wifi shield, and I saw many article says that galileo gen 2 should support Intel® Centrino® Advanced –N 6205, but it's hard to find in Malaysia local store.

Anyone could help with this ? either wifi shield can support galileo gen 2 board or where to but Intel® Centrino® Advanced –N 6205 in Malaysia local store.

Big thanks.

Hi Clest,

The CC3000 Library is not specifically listed as a "Supported Arduino library" so my guess is that it will not work. There is, however, a "wi-fi" library listed as a supported one, but I do not know if that library is able to use the CC3300 hardware...

I know nothing about commercialization issues,

Fernando.
