Ubuntu Server 18.04.1 Working on STCK1A8LFC

This is just an FYI, not a question (question can be assumed answered):

I just installed Ubuntu 18.04.1 64-bit SERVER EDITION on my Intel Compute Stick STCK1A8LFC (1.33 GHz Atom Z3735F, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage) and it installs and runs. eMMC and SD cards are detected immediately during install. I'm not sure if WiFi and Bluetooth work, because I rely on a USB to Ethernet adapter since this is running as a server.

I created a live USB by downloading the Ubuntu 18.04.1 64-bit SERVER EDITION ISO file and burning to a USB drive with Etcher. With a powered USB hub, keyboard and mouse, I pressed F10 to boot from the USB and wiped the internal drive clean and did a fresh installation.

I'm running the latest BIOS available at the time of this writing (BIOS Version 0038 - FCBYT10H.86A.0038.2018.0802.1745)

I'm mainly writing this because I thought I needed to do the whole isorespin.sh thing (https://linuxiumcomau.blogspot.com/2017/06/customizing-ubuntu-isos-documentation.html https://linuxiumcomau.blogspot.com/2017/06/customizing-ubuntu-isos-documentation.html) but turns out that it isn't fully required anymore, at least for my needs. Might be needed for other functionality though.

Great post, thanks. As an FYI, Ubuntu 19.04 (actually Xubuntu and Lubuntu) are also working well on the STCK1A8LFC, the 5.0 kernel supports all devices now, installation instructions are here.
