Unable to build Ref-OS-IOT

Hello

I followed the instructions here: https://github.com/01org/ref-os-iot/tree/master/meta-ref-os-iot ref-os-iot/meta-ref-os-iot at master · 01org/ref-os-iot · GitHub

Using "source 5xx-init-build-env"

When I try to bitbake full-image I got the following error after about 53%:

Thanks in advanced!

Hi Maor_Izenberg,

Thanks for your interest in the Intel® Joule™ Platform.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues building the Ref OS IoT image. Is there any particular reason why you are building this image? Because you can find the latest image on this link: https://download.01.org/ref-os-iot/releases/1703/5xx/ Index of /ref-os-iot/releases/1703/5xx .

After you download this image you can create a bootable device (https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/721472 IoT ), then you can flash the image by following these guides:

- https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/721477 IoT

- https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/721470 IoT

I will be waiting for your reply, have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Hi

Sorry for the late reply.

Disabling the layer did help me - thank you!

However, I still have not checked the image yet. I will update for details

Hi Umesh@pro3,

I would encourage you to read the Yocto Project Reference Manual http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/current/ref-manual/ref-manual.html# var-PACKAGE_EXCLUDE Yocto Project Reference Manual . Please look for the package exclude and remove information.

Also you can find the latest image of the Ref OS IoT at this link: https://github.com/01org/ref-os-iot GitHub - 01org/ref-os-iot: This is the official distribution of the Intel(R) Reference Operating System for the Internet… .

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

Best Regards,
