Hi there,
I'm trying to build a custom kernel for Edison but when I run "bitbake virtual/kernel -c menuconfig" it stops on:
"Currently 1 running tasks (254 of 254):
0: linux-yocto-3.10.17-r0 do_menuconfig (pid 31234)"
and kernel configuration menu do not appear.
Host machine: core i7, Ubuntu 15.04
Could someone help me out with this.
Thanks,
Dzmitry.

- do you have some more info (error log ...) on "it stops on"?
- which gcc version do you have? ("gcc -v")
- which build environment do you use? Maybe update recipes from http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/meta-intel-edison/ meta-intel-edison - Layer for the Intel Edison Development Platform - see e.g. http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/meta-intel-edison/commit/?id=e2bd228ff86f47fd219e83e924057... meta-intel-edison - Layer for the Intel Edison Development Platform
