Hello,
I'm trying to uninstall Intel Studio InT Edition on my Mac. Basically I found no documentation, but the Intel folder in programs contains an uninstall file. I tried to run it, but it asks my administrator password. If I enter, it says: authorization failure.
I'm sure I enter the right password. What's the proper way to uninstall this software?
Thanks !!!
Christof

Hi Christof_M,
Thank you for contacting us.
As I understand from your description, you've already tried to uninstall the ISS using the uninstall file using the Administrator password from step 3 here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-system-studio-iot-c-installing-on-mac ,is this correct?
Have you tried to uninstall the program by moving its contents to the trash? I've previously uninstalled software on Mac just by dragging the software and all of its related system files to the trash.
Try using this approach and let us know your results. Please send us pictures of the process so we can review the steps you've taken.
We'll be waiting for your response.

Dear Sergio,
basically you can uninstall everything on a mac by moving the program to trash. But this won't delete the libraries associated with the software.
Therefore I wanted to do a proper uninstall which seems to be basically offered, but not working
Cheers,
Christof

Hi Christoph,
Would you please share pictures of the error you receive after trying to uninstall ISS? We ran the uninstaller and it seems to have deleted all files associated with the ISS.
As an alternative, you can also try to run another uninstaller software. There are a few free uninstallers for Mac that should be able to help delete the remaining libraries. You can try the options listed here: http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/how-delete-apps-on-mac-how-uninstall-software-applicat... http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/how-delete-apps-on-mac-how-uninstall-software-applicat...
Let us know your results.
