I recommend you to re-flash your Edison. You can do it by using the Flash Tool Lite. The Flash Tool Lite can be downloaded from the following site: https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/edison/downloads IoT - Intel® Edison Board Download | Intel® Developer Zone, and the Yocto image can be downloaded from the following link: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/25028/eng/edison-image-ww25.5-15.zip http://downloadmirror.intel.com/25028/eng/edison-image-ww25.5-15.zip.
Let's try an alternative flashing method. This method uses a script called flashall. Check the following document to get additional details about how to perform this method:
si gracias pero
ya leí el articulo y sale que hay que ejecutar flashall.bat pero donde ahi que extraer la imagen yocto el la pc o la placa y que hay que hacer con la dfu-util.exe
me explicas mas detalladamente que hay que hacer
Sure. You have to decompress the image files in your PC and then, you have to download the dfu-util.exe file and copy it in the same folder where you decompressed the image files.
Once you have the image files and the dfu-util.exe file in the same folder in your PC, go to the command prompt (cmd.exe) and navigate to the folder where the image files are located. Connect the Edison board to your PC, and then run the flashall script by typing in the command prompt the following command: flashall.bat. The process should start and you can continue by following the instructions that appear in the command prompt.
Is your power source a battery or a wall adapter? If you are using a battery, I recommend you to use a DC wall adapter instead. Anyhow, this is a weird issue. Is this the first time you use the Edison, or were you able to use the Edison before without problems?
Is this the first time you try to use the Edison, or you were able to use the Edison before?
Could you take a screenshot of the Device Manager while both USB cables are connected to the PC? I would like to check the status of the COM ports associated to the Edison board.
