Hi Ted,

If you want to use different devices I suggest you to look into the http://download.intel.com/support/edison/sb/edisonmodule_hg_331189004.pdf Hardware Guide of the Edison Compute Module to check which GPIOs are available. (GP44, GP265, GP45, GP46, GP47, GP48, GP49, GP15 and GP14)

You shouldn't have problems by using the GP44 as CS.

Regards,

Charlie

Hi Teduav,

The SPI interface is available on:

PinGPIODescription51GP111 CS153GP110 CS055GP109 SCLK57GP115 MOSI59GP114 MISO

*http://download.intel.com/support/edison/sb/edisonmodule_hg_331189004.pdf Hardware Guide for the Edison Compute Module

Are you going to write a driver or a library for the shield?

Charlie

Hi,Charlie

Thank you for answer the question.I wnat to use the GP44 as the CS,not the GP110 or GP111,because I have three sensor to connect by SPI,so I have to choose three GPIO as the CS line.Have you down this befor?
