I wanted to know how to use lighttpd on Intel Galileo.I am using iot dk .Can I get guidelines on how to use,run ,setup lighttpd on Intel Galileo.
lighttpd is already up and running in the yocto version provided by Intel by following their install instructions
https://software.intel.com/en-us/get-started-galileo-linux-step1 IoT - Step 1: Make a bootable micro SD card | Intel® Software
https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/galileo/downloads Downloads for the Intel® Galileo Board | Intel® Software (https://software.intel.com/galileo-image/latest https://software.intel.com/galileo-image/latest )
e.g once you connect your Intel Galileo, you can see it
(I've configured my Intel Galileo to have the IP address 192.168.1.150)
What do you mean by "global server"? It's a web server... if you have a public IP then it can be accessed from any other (IP) place. If not, then it's local to your network. Take into account that the IP your Intel Galileo can use usually depends on the network administration/settings.
