So what issue I faced is I installed apache2 and php. And I tried to run php scripts. It doesn't worked. Later I found that to run php files with apache2, you need to install modphp - a php module designed to work with apache2.
What I did:
opkg update
opkg install apache2 modphp
Now php is working in browser. No need to build php from source if this worked.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks.

Hello Sir,
Thanks for the support. I tried this one. But it doesn't worked. I can open html files but i can't open php files. I think there might be some error in php installation. Is there any guide for php installation into edison. Or any other way to come up. Thanks again!!

Hi Arunkumark,
I found this thread: https://communities.intel.com/thread/109273 https://communities.intel.com/thread/109273, there is a guide to build PHP from source. It looks that there are some features that are not included in the standard build of PHP.
I hope you find this helpful.
Have a nice day.
Regards,
Leonardo R.

Hello ArunKumar,
Could you please share some more information on your resolution like below
1) Why you were running php on edison?
2) Which programming language you used?
3) Were you successful with the data transfer now?
