What Low Level Things Can Boot on Galileo?

Has the Galileo board been tested for booting the following?

MSDOS 6.x

MSDOS 7

FreeDos

From a USD Flash Stick

From a Compact Flash Card in an attached memory card reader

From a USB had disk rive

Michael.

We've booted a Linux kernel and some EFI DXE applications. That's it.

We've booted from

  1. Internal SPI flash - which is a feature of our reference s/w that makes us more credible in the embedded space. A full BIOS, grub, Linux kernel and Linux rootfs straight from 8 mb spi flash
  2. Linux kernel and rootfs from USB key
  3. Linux kernel and rootfs from SD
  4. I believe some of the guys in Windriver have also done a NFS root. I've not used it in anger but I believe it works.
