What does "Answered" mean?

Jump to solution

Hi,

A little bit off topic, but I've seen several "Answered" questions which have -at least- pending issues.

E.g. The issue in is now (/message/358495?tstart=0# 358495 Latest reply: Dec 9, 2015 3:29 AM by SpiderKenny) tagged as "answered" but in the last reply the text "Thanks for your reply, but I'm stumped!" suggests it is not...

If "Answered" means "solved" I think several discussions tagged as solved are not solved... or maybe I misunderstood something.

If "Answered" means "replied", then maybe the tag is not very useful, or maybe I misunderstood something again.

Fernando.

If you look deeper, some posts are marked as 'Correct answer' by topic starters, and some - by Intel guys. And Intel guys often marks as correct their own posts. Guess which topics fall into your 'not solved' category?

I see, thanks.

I didn´t know I was able to see who marked the posts as "Correct Answer".

I'll tag your post as the "Correct Answer", of course.

Thank you.

Fernando.

Edit: pfff I already found the reply tagged as "Correct Answer"... but it was.
