Hi,
I have one opencv based java application which is running successfully on my Ubuntu 64 bit machine. This application is accessing webcam through opencv.
However, when I run this app on intel galileo gen 2 board, I am getting following error:
libopencv_java300.so wrong elf class elf64
I believe, this is because architecture difference.
Where can I find libopencv_java300.so for i586 architecture i.e. which can run on galileo gen 2 board ?
Regards,
Mehul

Hi Mehul,
According to
openCV should be working.... are you trying to run a compiled java application (i.e. a .class generated in the Ubuntu computer)?

Hi Mehul,
Thanks for your interest in the Intel Galileo Platform.
As Fernando pointed out, OpenCV should be working with the Galileo Gen 2. Please check if your libraries are updated.
I will be waiting for your reply, have a nice day.
Best Regards,
-Jose.

Hi,
I am running Debian on intel galileo gen 2 board. Following this guide: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-run-debian-on-Galileo-board/ How to run debian on Galileo board.
I require debian OS for my requirement.
So, OpenCV libraries are not available on board.
I will try to install it today by apt-get and update you..

Since you are using Debian, I think Debian developers and/or Debian port to Intel Galileo are the most appropriate people to tell you. And please share when you get an answer.
TIA,
Fernando.

Hi Mehul,
I would recommend you to install the Yocto image (https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/galileo/downloads https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/galileo/downloads ), since it already includes OpenCV. We are currently only supporting issues related to this image. If you still want to continue with Debian, you can contact Emutex (https://emutex.com/index.php/about-us/contact-us Emutex - Contact Us ), they created an image called ubilinux based on Debian.
Best Regards,
-Jose.
