Maybe you should add more information...

Please send the screens:

a) Before plugging in your Intel Galileo

b) After plugging in your Intel Galileo

If your Intel Galileo is not recognized maybe you should update/install the corresponding driver, as explained in the Intel documentation.

Your Intel Galileo should be recognized in an entry "Ports (COM & LPT)"... take into account that

a) it could take up to 3 minutes

b) You should not use any USB hub, USB extender cable, etc.

And I'd try also:

a) use another USB cable

b) use another USB in your pc/laptop

c) avoid USB 3.0 pc/laptop connection

Well... if you tried everything aforementioned and your Intel Gaileo is working with the same cable in another computer, then I run out of ideas... I don't know what happens...

Hi Radikia_Cuber,

Did you try to install the Driver on your PC? Please take a look at this guide: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/galileo-getting-started-guide# windows-driver

Let us know if it worked.

Have a nice day.

Hi Leonardo R.,

Take into account that the Intel Galileo is not recognized at all, i.e. there is no driver to install for a non-existent hardware (take a look at the image posted by Radikia_Cuber).

Fernando.

Hi Radikia_Cuber,

To be honest, it is a weird issue, because your Galileo is detected on another computer with the same cable.

We don't think it is an issue with your Galileo or your USB cable, maybe the issue is with the USB ports of your computer.

Regards,
