Hi

I update the firmware (weekly146) and installed some apps/libs via opkg, to prepare the environment of our app.

Now, I need to install my app to many edison boards? is there convenient method to copy one envirenment to others? (Including upgrading FW, and installing related libs)

Hello jzd,

I believe your best option would be to create a customer Yocto image with your app and all its dependencies. In order to learn how to do this, you will have to read http://www.intel.com/support/edison/sb/CS-035278.htm Intel® Edison Board Support Package (BSP) User Guide.

Nevertheless, there is no official way to flash several Edison Modules at the same time, so, you will have to flash your extra Edisons one by one.

Peter.

hi, Peter.

I am creating a custom edison yocto image.

I knew I can put the standard yocto packages into image like `IMAGE_INSTALL += `libx11``

while I already have some files/libs on my hand, and I want to put those files in the yocto's /usr/lib. What should i do? (Those files are from my ubuntu 32bit, and they can work well on edison, such like libsmime3.so)

I open a new discuss in

Thanks

Zidong
