Hi IoT_srinivas,

There's not a list that's specific to outdoor HD cameras. What we can recommend is for you to look here http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/ http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/ . This link has the list of supported UVC devices. When using a camera with the Edison, the first thing to check is that's UVC-compatible. Make sure the UVC driver is installed and if it's not, look at https://github.com/drejkim/edi-cam https://github.com/drejkim/edi-cam for instructions. Out of this list, look for the specifics of each camera and choose the one that fits the needs for your project.

Let us know if this is what you were looking for.

Hi IoT_srinivas,

We understand you need an outdoor camera that supports the necessary Linux drivers but we can't recommend specific products. What we can recommend is the list we posted above and the requirements needed for you to choose a camera that will fit the needs of your project. The first thing required is a UVC-compatible webcam. We can also recommend to look for threads where users of the community use webcams successfully with their Edison. Most likely all cameras used in Edison threads can be found in the list we posted above, so that's a good place to get started and choose a webcam.

Let us know if you found this useful.

Hi IoT_srinivas,

Do you still need assistance with this case, were you able to find a camera that fits the needs of your project?
