Is there any ETA on hardware acceleration support for the Joule using Windows 10 IoT? Our project is supposed to ship in October and the lack of hardware acceleration is severely impacting performance.
Thanks for any info!

Hi JeffSt,
Thank you for contacting us. We've looked for this feature in the documentation but haven't found anything relevant yet. Please allow us more time so we can investigate further about this topic. We'll contact you as soon as we have more information.
Also, since you're interested in using the Windows 10 IoT image, I would recommend you to contact the Windows community as well. They are the developers of Windows IoT and should be able to provide insight on the capabilities of that image. The link to contact Microsoft is: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/iot/Community

Hi Sergio,
This question has already been asked several times by various users on the Microsoft IoT forum and the answer received was to contact Intel, as they have to provide the BSP.

My answer *was* answered on the Microsoft forums. Turns out the answer is NEVER, because the Joule has been quietly discontinued, along with the Galileo and Edison lines.
