intel curie power source

Hi ,

I used intel curie in my project and I want to power it by Ap2112k 3.3v regulator using Vsys pin , can I do this?

My battery rechargeable 3.7v coin-cell?

Hello PHOENIX24324324,

Thank you for your interest in Intel® Curie™ Boards.

Since I haven't personally used an AP2112K 3.3 V regulator, I can't explicitly recommend it, but looking at the Intel® Curie™ Module – Datasheet (http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/curie/intel-curie-module-data... http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/curie/intel-curie-module-data...) I'd say that as long as the DC power source can supply a steady 3.3 V (and not exceed 4.4 V) you can use it as VSYS:

I'll also suggest you to check the Arduino 101 schematic for a better understanding on how VSYS interacts with other components, in case your project uses a similar structure:

Have a nice day.

Hi,

Can you see my schematic and see if there is any problems ?

I used USB for programming and power Flash chip with regulated 3.3v instead of VDD_PLAT_3P3

Thanks

Hello PHOENIX24324324,

I have to inform you that evaluating custom schematics is out of the scope of this technical support team.

I suggest you to please check the Arduino 101 schematic (https://www.arduino.cc/en/uploads/Main/Arduino101-REV4Schematic.pdf https://www.arduino.cc/en/uploads/Main/Arduino101-REV4Schematic.pdf), that is the best reference along with the Intel® Curie™ Module – Design Guide (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-curie-modules/000022331.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-curie-modules/000022331.html) for custom designs.

I'll be waiting for your response.

Have a nice day.

Regards,

Andres V.
