@I have a problem about intel edison SDK can't connect the device .
I use the Elipse SDK tool and try to download blinks code to my intel edison.
But, it always have a warning "connecting 192.168.2.15 fail" or "connecting 192.168.1.55 fail"
I use the ifconfig command knowing ethernet over usb0 wifiIP(192.168.2.15) and wlan wifiIP(192.168.1.55)
I think IP I use in SDK is right.
I don't know the problem.
is SSH password a problem ?
is there anyone know the solution ?
What steps have you followed to install Eclipse and run the Blink example? What Eclipse version are you using and what Edison image?
Just to make sure, follow https://software.intel.com/en-us/blinking-an-led-using-c-with-intel-system-studio-iot-edition https://software.intel.com/en-us/blinking-an-led-using-c-with-intel-system-studio-iot-edition and let us know if you continue to see this error.
I think the version of Elipse is the latest 1.0.10.
I want to use the SDK to download my code to the MCU.
So, I follow the website (https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/545143 Installing the MCU SDK | Intel® Software ) step to install, and I don't know the meaning of the one step (attached picture).
And which place I should enter my device ssh password ?
The section you're following to install the MCU SDK is not mandatory and is not a requisite to open the IDE. Notice in step 23, the guide tells you to follow with the "Running Eclipse" section. Once you're able to open the IDE you should follow https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/545144 https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/545144 to upload projects to your board. There's also a section that describes where to enter the IP address of your board so that it connects to the IDE.
Let us know if you were able to connect.
