Hi Arun,

Thank you very much for your patience.

The iotkit-comm-c was removed from Github since it was mainly used to send data to IoT Analytics dashboard and it has been discontinued, as you can see in this link: /thread/107871 https://communities.intel.com/thread/107871, we would like to let you know you need to remove the recipe from the image, the image file is located in /edison-src/poky/meta-intel-edison-distro/recipes-core/images/edison-image.bb. The following lines need to be commented/removed:

IMAGE_INSTALL += "iotkit-comm-js"

IMAGE_INSTALL += "iotkit-comm-c-dev"

We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, we're working on it.

Regards,

-Yermi

Any idea when it will be available again?

Or If we could get old version to build our image?

Thank you.

Hi Paul,

IoT Analytics has been taken offline, please visit the https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/edison The Intel® Edison Module | IoT | Intel® Software for alternative solutions. Old versions include the iotkit-comm-c recipe, so you should remove it in order to build the image as it is mentioned above.
