Hi,

The service command is not available in the current Edison image. In the Edison, services are found in /lib/system/system. You can enable services, similarly how you'd do it with the service command using systemctl.

Some of the basic systemctl options to check and enable your service are:

systemctl status servicename.service

systemctl start servicename.service

systemctl enable servicename.service

You can see more options of systemctl here http://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemctl.html systemctl
