Hi

actually i am running yocto image in my intel edison

and in dev/root is fully used but i have some memory in

devtmpfs 480M 0 480M 0% /dev

tmpfs 481M 0 481M 0% /dev/shm

tmpfs 481M 548K 480M 1% /run

tmpfs 481M 0 481M 0% /sys/fs/cgroup

tmpfs

how can i transfer this unused memory to dev/root to provide some space to root

i have already working on the edison module with out flashing or formatting is there possible to get the memory to be updated.

The two methods that enable you to change the size of the root partition require flashing/formatting the board. If you want to check them, please follow this links:

So, unfortunately, a method to perform a resize of the partitions without flashing/formatting the board is not available.
