I am not able to flash my device as it is giving "USB bulk read fails" error. I have attached the log file and the event viewer files of the drivers. Can someone help me in this?
I have originally posted this https://embedded.communities.intel.com/message/18189?et=notification.mention here, but was directed here.
Have you tried any of the other methods to flash the board? The other methods are using the Flash Tool Lite and running the flashall script.
You can see instructions here
Flashall: /docs/DOC-25154 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-25154
Glad you replied.
Flash tool lite is asking for valid flash file, which I don't know how to create one. I am not an IT guy so have no knowledge on that. Manufacturing Flash Tool also asking for the flash file.
The above link for flashall method you mentioned above is for Edison board, while mine is a Cloverview device. So I don't know if we are on right track. Just briefly, I am trying to flash the ROM for my soft bricked Zenfone 6, which uses Intel chip.
Forums such as XDA are talking about driver issues. May be the xFSTK guys in Intel can also look into this, as I see almost all of them are having the same issue.
This is a forum for the Edison board. If you're using another device the suggested thing would be to contact the support forum of your device for proper assistance. They'll be able to help you more than us. However, we found a guide that seems to be helpful http://zenfone-blog.blogspot.com/2015/06/guide-how-to-unbrick-asus-zenfone-4-5-6.html http://zenfone-blog.blogspot.com/2015/06/guide-how-to-unbrick-asus-zenfone-4-5-6.html . Hopefully this will flash your device successfully.
