Hi Ananth,

Thanks for your interest in the Intel Joule platform.

According to this link: https://developer.ubuntu.com/core/get-started/intel-joule# Installation%20instructions Intel Joule - Ubuntu you are trying to update your Ref-OS-IoT image following the instructions to install Intel Joule Ubuntu Core on the Joule.

We would like to suggest you that once you have built the Ref-OS-IoT image successfully (following that guide: https://github.com/01org/ref-os-iot https://github.com/01org/ref-os-iot) try to install the image on the Joule board following these instructions: https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/721477 Online Guide for the Intel® Joule™ Module.

Let us know if this information helps.

Hi Ananth,

Do you have any updates? Were you able to install the Joule's image?

Hi Yermi A,

Thanks for you support !

I was mistaken in using full/base-image-intel-*.wic.xz, Since the image itself a self extracting live image.

i programmed the image directly in the internal mmc of Intel joule, instead of a secondary storage. After following your mentioned link, i was able to flash the intel joule board successfully.

Thanks and regards,

Ananth
