The new board card made by my company, together with the intel nuc compute element(Pro Compute Element CM8CCB), has the problem that the BIOS fails to boot after the completion of boot (probability: 1/60, default BIOS version 0058).
System startup failure. It feels like EMMC content is missing.
At present, the following tests have been done:
1)The problem still recurs when the 8080/8175 version of BIOS is used for verification.
2)Using the same BIOS and Austin Beach verification, the problem still repeats.
As mentioned above, 2 of the 20 CM8CCB tested had this problem, with a probability of 10 percent.

Hello bzl,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I was checking your description and something that brough my attention is that you state this is a board card manufactured by your company.
· Are you currently developing this card board ?
· Are you an integrator?
· Can you describe the boot problem? Is it that the device is unable to boot into the OS?
I noticed that you are experiencing this behavior with BIOS 0058, I noticed that he current version is 0079, by any change have you tried a unit with that BIOS version?
The most common way to perform the update is via F7 method.
I attach the link where you can check the latest BIOS for your de vice.

Thank you very much for your reply.
1. Are you currently developing a this card board ?
==>My description has led you to misunderstand. My company uses the purchased nuc compute element(Pro Compute Element CM8CCB),only the interface expansion board is designed by our company.
2· Are you an integrator?
==>product application。
3. Can you describe the boot problem? Is it that the device is unable to boot into the OS?
==>Recently we have purchased a batch of CM8CCB. In two of them (only 20 have been tested, and many more have not been tested), after starting the system, by repeatedly switching on and off the power supply, the device is unable to boot into the OS. Only when the system is reinstalled can it be restored.
Probability: 1/60
4.I noticed that you are experiencing this behavior with BIOS 0058, I noticed that he current version is 0079, by any change have you tried a unit with that BIOS version?
==>Thank you for your advice. I'll have a try.

At present, the eMMC manufacturer is working on the problem. The problem is more complicated than imagined. I will update it when I have a conclusion. Thank you for your answers and attention.
