2 NUCs peer-to-peer

I have one NUC10i3FNH and one NUC11PAHi7.

I would like to network them with a ethernet cable (peer-to-peer). 

Should I use a normal RJ45 cable or a cross-over one?

Use a crossover cable and static IP addresses.
