I have a NUC D340110WYKH model running Linux. WIth COVID-19 forcing a lot to work remotely, I find I am in need of a Windows OS for remoting into work. Linux does great, except when I try to join a Webex or Zoom meeting while working remotely. Maybe something having to do with a Remote inside another Remote.
Is it possible to switch between SSDs that are loaded with Linux and Windows or have a SSD with Linux and a HD with Windows?
Thanks for any tips or suggestions.
The NUC doesn't care whether you use a SSD or a HDD to add Windows. In WY, you have connector for mSATA SSD (which I presume you are using for Linux already) and a SATA drive bay for 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD (take your pick).
You can choose which O/S is the default in the Boot configuration scene in Visual BIOS (remember UEFI boot has precedence over Legacy boot). If you are rebooting and wish to boot to the other O/S, simply hit F10 during POST (when BIOS Logo (Splash Screen) appears) and select the other drive.
Hope this helps,
