I have a NUC5i5RYH that has been running Xubuntu 15.04/15.10 for a while.
I would like to switch to Mint but 17.2 still doesn't support the HD6000 graphics out-of-the-box.
An earlier attempt to update the kernel and drivers failed rather miserably.
Can anyone help me better understand:
1. Exactly which packages I need to upgrade for Broadwell/HD6000 support
2. The dependencies between them
3. How to select good solid versions of each
While Intel has not tested and validated Intel® NUC with any Linux distributions, we have plenty of positive reports from our NUC owners. These distros are listed on http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-034034.htm Intel® NUC — Supported Operating Systems, along with direct links to their websites.
