Hi! I've been looking for an upgrade to my ageing NUC5i5MYHE. That was chosen specifically because it had dual display ports - I run Linux with dual display, which seem to run best with two identical outputs for the monitors.
I have just pre-ordered a NUC8v7PNH - small form factor - high variant for extra HDD (would really be nice if the bay height was increased to accomodate higher 15mm HDDs), as it has dual HDMI outputs. But I just noticed this model has the 3.5mm audio jack socket removed, see https://simplynuc.com/8v7pnh-full/
Why? The NUC8i7BEH for example still has it. I want to drive my Creative (Gigaworks T40) speakers via 3.5mm input.
So my qu is: what is the recommended workaround for this? Intel must have something in mind when they just removed this. I would prefer solutions that do not require aditional power supply (such as HDMI splitters).

Just use a USB sound card/dongle, easiest workaround for 3.5mm jack support.
