Has anyone had any success connecting an Apple Thunderbolt 2 display to an Intel NUC (NUC8i5BEH) via the Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port using an Apple TB3 to TB2 dongle? Intel support seems to think this will work, but I've had zero success getting the NUC to recognize/start the display. I have all drivers on the NUC up to date via the Intel Support Driver app. Any help by anyone in the community would be much appreciated.

ANosr, there wasn't a clean resolution. In the end I acquired a standard monitor to use on the Intel NUC - my Thunderbolt 2 display is being used by my MacBook Pro (fall, 2015). In the end my home desk setup is more to my liking with the duel monitors/computers/OSs than my original plan. Sorry I couldn't provide a better resolution for you.

I want to connect my Thunderpolt 2 Audio Interface to a NUC11, it doesn't work. It crashes Windows and NUC restarts indefinitely with booting issues until I disconnect it... How sad !!!!!!
