Are all Intel NUC capable of running from 12-24vDC?

Hi, i was looking up the specs on some NUC board only and notice there power requirment is 12-24v DC, is this the same with all NUCs, including the ones already in the cases with Windows?

They come with a 19v PSU, but running them with a 12v PSU would be preferred...

Many Thanks

I was wondering exactly the same.

Not sure why the previous generation of NUCs come with 12-24V power consumption. The new ones only mentions 19V capability.

Looking forward to see if someone has tried it.

The short answer is the JY NUCs require 12-19 ±10% V DC and come with a 65W PSU.

For the longer answer, I threw this chart together:

Hello, that was very useful information.

Could you please update the list of power supply requirements  with the newest NUC 11 and 12 ?

You do know that I am just a volunteer here, right?

And, with only a few exceptions, this information is all in readily-available documents.

Here is updated chart with NUC11 families added. There has been no information released for the NUC12 units as yet.

Notes:

(1) Guestimates on my part

(2) I could not find information regarding the Lite SKUs; am presuming same as Std. SKUs for now.

I have asked engineering team for verification on both of these opens. Will update once I receive.

Thank you very very much ! I hope the tolerances are exact and 11th TN Nuc will work from LiPo 6S battery, which is 25.2V at full charge...

I would not be connected a battery directly. I would be using something like this: Mini-Box.com: DCDC-NUC, 6-48V automotive power supply for NUC, 12V or 19V output.
