Hi,
NUC settings
My Intel NUC7i5BNH have the following settings in BIOS
LG TV settings
On my LG TV I have SIMPLINK enabled with Auto Power Sync enabled.
Connection
My NUC and TV are connected by HDMI.
Problem
When I turn on my TV then my NUC powers off as suspected (unless I disable Auto Power Sync on LG TV). But when I turn on my TV then nothing happens to my NUC. How can I make my TV turn on my Intel NUC?

Hello fixated,
I understand that you are currently having problems with the CEC boot control as the unit is not powering on when the TV does.
Regarding this, I was reviewing the settings and the information you provided and everything seems to be properly set. What I need now, to better assist you with your request, is some information about your computer. Please follow these steps:
1. In the keyboard, press WinLogo key + R.
2. In the Run box please type dxdiag and hit Enter.
3. Click on Save All Information (save it in your desktop).
4. Attach the report to this thread.
Also, we are going to be running some testing from our side as well to check what could be the problem. I will be getting back to you as soon as possible.
Regards,
David V

Hello fixated,
Thank you for your response,
If that is the case, please let me know what is the BIOS version that you currently have. You can find this on the BIOS screen, on the top left corner.

Hello fixated,
Thank you for your response,
So, after the BIOS update, the system is not booting anymore? Also, I will proceed to do more research about this issue, we are trying to replicate your current problem here so I can find what the problem could be.

Hello fixated,
Thank you for your response,
Since the BIOS has been updated, please attempt to take the BIOS back to defaults. Once the defaults are there, change the settings back to the same way you had them set up in Legacy Device Configuration.
After that, let me know if the unit turns on with the TV and vice-versa.

Hi,
I reset to default settings, saved and rebooted. Then I enabled the Wake on TV etc in BIOS, saved and rebooted.
Now it works one-way; my TV obeys turn on and off from my NUC but not the other way around. E.g. turning on my NUC turns my TV on but not the other way around.
