Then, do not use IDSA to do the update. Download the .CAP file and manually update using F7.

I am familiar with that method, but want to know why the update through Windows does not work anymore. I think I know why now though - I think it has to do with the Core Isolation thing Windows pushed out. I think its blocking the Intel BIOS update from happening. I wish there was a way to make an exception for Intel drivers.

Likely the version jump from 50 according to your screenshot to current 63 is too big!
Also previous versions 60, 62 are not available to dl ... Intel has pulled them.
And you will likely see problems if you do not update in sequence 50->60->62->63
Be also prepared to lose WOL functionality in version 63. I had this working in 50 for sure but lost it along the way to 63.
