Hi
I have a NUC8i7HVK with BIOS ver 0040. I just ran the Intel Driver and Support Assistant and it told me that ver 0051 was available for download and install.
Should I do that or should I install the versions before that starting at 0044 and then install 0051?
Thanks

Sands: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® communities support.
Yes, we recommend not to jump all the way to the latest version, you can try 0044, 0048, 0050 and then 0051, please select BIOS under "download type" to get all the BIOS versions:

We also suggest to use the F7 method to do the BIOS update:

Thanks for that Alberto. So the BIOS updates aren't cumulative. Strange then that the Intel Driver Support Assistant advised that 0051 was available for download and install (through the express method).

Sands: You are welcome. Yes, you can always try to do the update all the way to the latest BIOS version, most of the times it works with no problems, we just recommend to install some versions in between in order to avoid for the BIOS to get corrupted.
