Basic question: NUC11TNHi50L Dual LAN

Before I buy, I want to know: Is the Dual LAN two independent LAN card, or just a dual socket?
I want to use this device as a gateway.

Technical Product Specification, clearly shows that this independent LAN card. Please see the items F and V on page 19 and read the para. 2.1.6 on page 23. 

This is an example of LAN Gigabit add on Module with Dual USB 2.0 Ports for Tiger Canyon.
