Good evening,
I have a NUC NUC8i5BEH (Iris Plus Graphics 655) with Windows 10.
As graphics driver, do I have to use the specific one for my NUC?
v27.20.100.8681
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/it/product/126148/Kit-Intel-NUC-NUC8i5BEH
Or can I use the latest generic version for the Iris Plus Graphics 655 card?
v27.20.100.9168

Thanks a lot

Hello LucF,
Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.
NUCs systems are highly customized and our recommendation is to use the latest driver that has been tested and validated for your specific unit, in this case, version 27.20.100.8681.
Best regards,

Hello @Maria_R_Intel
"NUCs systems are highly customized..." however the currently available in Download Center Driver version 27.20.100.8681 is a generic DCH driver (i.e. not customized). Isn't it?
Best regards,
Leon

I believe that only the BN NUCs required a customized driver package.

Hello Leon,
Intel* provides generic drivers for third-party systems, however, we tested the generic driver 27.20.100.8681 in the NUC and is the one we validated for it, so we can ensure that will work fine with the NUC, which is a highly customized system.
From the Intel* side, we will always recommend using the latest driver that was validated for each specific system.
Since the thread was marked as solved, I will proceed to close it; if you need further assistance or if you have additional questions, please create a new thread and we will gladly assist you.
Best regards,
