Best PC controls when sitting in a sofa?

Jump to solution

What's the best PC controls when sitting in a sofa?

The computer is an Intel NUC connected to a 42" TV screen.

And it works fine as movie-player and internet browser.

But the current PC controls on a low table connected to it are no good for gaming or long time browsing because of the sofa. One has to sit akward to use them...

Perhaps this is the best controls setup for using Intel NUC in the livingroom?

It's called couchmaster! Does Intel have a cheaper solution?

Hi PvP,

the NUC has a infared sensor but i prefer to use a thin and low weight bluetooth keyboard with Touchpad.

A good one has enough power for several months of using and a modern akku / load station

What kind of sofa equipment is the infrared sensor useful for? Internet browsing or television?

This NUC is connected to internet via cable. But there is an internet router right next to it and it seems like quite a lot of trouble to buy a bluetooth card and opening up the NUC completely to place it at the bottom if only to discover that it interferes with the WiFi signal from the router...

But are there a useful bluetooth mouse when sitting in a sofa, since it needs an underlayer to roll on?
