BitLocker: Suspended volume encryption on imaged Intel Nucs i3 and i7.

I imaged multiple Intel Nucs using Windows 10. Some but not all of the nucs had the following message after imaging:

BitLocker: Suspended volume encryption.

I use the same image on Dell Workstations and didn't get that message on any of them.

In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this matter, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system. 


If the Intel® NUCs that you are reporting boot to Windows*, please provide the SSU report of each of them:

If not: 

What is the specific model of the Intel® NUCs that are not working?

Are those new Intel® NUCs?

Were they working fine before with BitLocker?

When did the issue start?

Did you make any recent hardware/software changes?

Which specific Windows* version are you using?

What is the BIOS version currently installed on eachIntel® NUC?
