Bluetooth won't find any devices

Hello, I've tried everything I can think of and I can't get my Bluetooth to work on my PC. After digging around for a long time it seems to be the the Intel Bluetooth driver. I've tried so many things to fix it, updating drivers, uninstalling the drivers, downloading new drivers from the site, I updated the services setting, I messed around (carefully) in the registry... I cannot get the Bluetooth driver to function. This is driving me CRAZY... What else can I try?

What is the model number of your NUC?

The CPU is a "Intel Core i7-8700 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor"

The motherboard is a "Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) ATX LGA1151 Motherboard"

I had to Google how to find the NUC but this is what I came up with

Manufacturer          Product         SerialNumber  Version

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z370 AORUS Gaming 5-CF Default string x.x

The bluetooth driver itself is from intel but could the problem be with the motherboard instead and I need to reach out to Gigabyte instead?

The bluetooth has worked on this PC before... and I'm still fairly confident it's the driver causing the issue.
