Botton lid screws specification NUC10i3FNH

Hi all,

I'm searching for the bottom lid screws specification. (The screws that fix the lid to the NUC)

I only need the basic screw spec (thread spec?) to find a spacer that matches with the screw.

Cheers!

You may find this screw specification in the Mechanical Drawing (in step format) for this NUC.

Hi @LeonWaksman ,

Thanks for the hint!

I just opened the step file in an online viewer but couldn't get the specific screw information from there. Not sure if is the online viewer's fault. I'm also not used to it.

Hi @Victor_G_Intel ,

Thanks for your reply! Could you manage to get the information?

Just to make it clear, I only need to find some spacer that fits on the screw thread. I don't need te whole screw specification. So the thread information would be enough for my case.

Best Regards

Hello fabatera,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to further assist you can you please send a picture of the screws you need in case you have any?

We don’t have much information about the actual specification of the screws but with a picture, we might be able to figure something out.

Note: You can use the option under the reply window to attach files to the thread (Drag and drop here or browse files to attach).

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Victor, I can't send you pictures because the NUCs are in the office. But I don't know what you will see differently than on the nuc itself.
You can also use the link previously posted here with the step file, and the mechanical drawings. I couldn't use it as I don't have experience with it.

Hello fabatera,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We appreciate the suggestion; nonetheless, the mechanical drawing doesn’t show the exact measurement of the screws you need; therefore, we would like to ask if there is a possibility that someone back in your office can take one of the screws you need out of the NUC and send us a couple of pictures of it, with those pictures we might be able to figure something out on our end.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Victor,

Sorry for reviving this. I wanted to take pictures but couldn't and ended up forgetting to answer.

Doesn't Intel have the NUC's mechanical specifications?  Moreover, couldn't you use the step file (https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/mini-pcs/nuc-kits/NUC10FNH_STEP.zip) to check it? I don' t have the skills to do it. I guess the step file is better then a picture.
