CEC with Linux-Scripts

Hello.

I use a NUC 6CAYH for a digital signage application.

The nuc turns the TV on and off on boot/shutdown. I would like to turn it on/off by a script. Is this possible? I installed cec-utils (on Ubuntu), but cec-client -l says "Found devices: NONE"...

Thanks

Hello mimu88

Thank you for joining the community

I understand that you are looking for assistance on setting up a script to turn on/off the NUC. But I will like to share with you that only operating system supported in the NUC by Intel is Windows® 10, 64-bit*, see the reference link below

However, you can verify your operating system communities for assistance on your situation

Hello Leonardo.

No, i would like to write a script in Linux which turns the TV on/off by sending CEC-Commands.

The NUC is able to send CEC-commands to the TV on boot and shutdown, but I would like to leave the NUC on and turn the TV on/off with CEC-commands.

Regards,

Michael
