Question is as Title suggests:
Can I remove and replace the 8265 wifi card in my NUC8i7HVK with the 9260. It appears to be a M2 2230. The 9260 supports overall higher theoretical bandwidths from 866.7Mbps to 1.73Gbs and 160Mhz channel widths. Everything else seems to be the same between the two.
TIA

Hello TDean,
Thank you for posting on the Intel Community.
We don’t support wireless integration since the only wireless adapter that has been tested with the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK is the Intel® Wireless-AC 8265.
You might be able to install the Intel® Wireless-AC 9260; however, you need to take in consideration the following:
• Compatibility between the NUC and the wireless adapter.
• FCC rules.
• BIOS compatibility.
Please check the following link with the Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade.
