Can a NUC11TNKi3 run 8K with one cable or does it need two cables?

I have gotten 8K to run with two cables with a NUC11TNKi3, but haven't been able to with one. Does it require 2 cables for a tiled display 7680x4320 at 60 Hz only, or can it run a single display with one cable 7680x4320 at 30 Hz? Using usb-c to DP 1.4 cables (meant for 8K).

Hello Tacotaco

After reviewing this further, we would like to inform you that 8K is possible by Dual DisplayPort™ input via USB Type-C. Please refer to the Technical Product Specification, section 3.2 Graphics Subsystem. Based on this, we can confirm that it is required to use 2 cables to get 8K.
