Jump to solution

The Intel NCU NUC6CAYS comes with 2GB of RAM. But I was wondering if it would work well if I installing another 4GB RAM stick (with a total of 6GB RAM)?

Hello drylight

Yes, you can install 4GB module in the second slot (with 2GB already installed in the other slot). It is advisable to choose memory from the list of tested and approved by Intel memory: http://compatibleproducts.intel.com/ProductDetails/ExportPeripheralInfo?moduleName=Intel%C2%AE%20NUC... http://compatibleproducts.intel.com/ProductDetails/ExportPeripheralInfo?moduleName=Intel%C2%AE%20NUC...… and http://www.cmtlabs.com/2012/memCertPartSearchResultsAll.asp?bNav=True&sManuf=Intel&outside=False&sMN... Hope this helps
