After download and installed the latest BT driver, Intel driver assistance still show the driver is not updated.
When I tried to install again, the update version shown in the message are the same. see below.
According to the change document, the latest version supposed to be 22.40.0.7. Not sure how to install to 22.40.0.7.

I just ran the Driver & Support Assistant again (without rebooting) 8 hours after running the Bluetooth update and doing nothing since then, and now it says all drivers and software are up to date. It shows the currently installed Bluetooth driver as 22.40.0.2 2/16/2021. Bluetooth continues to work properly.
Glad I didn't muck things up trying to resolve it myself, lol.

Same. Tried all of the usual stuff. Uninstalled driver, rebooted, re-installed. DSA still wants to update. Same problem happened with a Bios update a few months back. Took a week or two to get a working version.

Same problem for me. I rebooted--no luck. I clicked the 'Install" button again and the only options that came up were Repair, Change, and Remove. I clicked Repair and it went through the process successfully, but no luck-- the Intel Driver and Support Assistant still shows the update is available, and it still tries to install 22.40.0.2. I am going to just let the notification sit there. It appears to be installed correctly and the Bluetooth function works fine. I think it's a problem with the Intel Driver and Support Assistant.

Problem has resolved itself for me. I rebooted a second time for unrelated reasons and the notification to update from DSA was cleared. No idea why. I did not attempt any other work arounds since posting here. I right clicked the tray icon to manually check for updates and I get the green "Your drivers and software are up to date" banner. There are 2 entries for the Bluetooth driver in the Devices and Drivers list, both list version 22.40.0.2, only one has a green check mark.

Thanks all for the reply.
I believed this is an Intel issue. The signature for the update stated that it is 22.40.0.7 but the actual version of the update is 22.40.02. That why the update reminder is not going away.
I will ignore the reminder and wait for Intel to fix it but who know when.
