Cannot get wake on Lan to work with D2820

I think I have my BIOS settings correct but I can't get wake on Lan to work. Can anyone suggest what I am missing - I have tried using an IP Scanner that has wake on Lan built in, but also a Linux app that sends the magic packet.

Hello Tonyd87, thanks for contacting us through the Intel Communities.

The options available for the "Wake on LAN" feature depend on which Operating system you are using. On BIOS, under the "Power Tab", the setting "wake on LAN from S4/S5 needs to be power on- normal boot.

Something very important is that the setting "Deep S4/S5 needs to be disable. Then, Network needs to be the first boot device priority on the BIOS.

The BIOS version needs to be update to the latest version available.

The Network's drivers also need to be update

Thanks. I had actually got it working, not exactly sure what I changed but it's working now.

I tried to reply earlier but my post had scrolled off the bottom and I couldn't see how to find it. I do find this forum software a little curious
